چکیده
Development of bio-jet fuel has gained much attention in the few years due to carbon emission problem. Waste cooking oil (WCO) is an alternative raw material produce medium chain methyl ester which similar properties with bio jet fuel. This research aims investigate Response Surface Methodology for synthesis from waste using agitated ozone treatment. In this study, was produced ozonolysis method generator. The effect reaction time, concentration and flow rate were optimized response surface methodology (RSM) based on a central composite design (CCD). optimum conditions obtained RSM 3% concentration, 10 L/min min time. Under condition, met commercial standard are density %FFA conversation 0.863 g/mL 2.95%, respectively.

An Improvement in Biodiesel Production from Waste Cooking Oil by Applying Thought Multi-Response Surface Methodology Using Desirability Functions
The exhaustion of natural resources has increased petroleum prices and the environmental impact of oil has stimulated the search for an alternative source of energy such as biodiesel. Waste cooking oil is a potential replacement for vegetable oils in the production of biodiesel. Biodiesel is synthesized by direct transesterification of vegetable oils, which is controlled by several inputs or pr...

Solvent-free copolymerization of epoxides derived from fatty esters of waste cooking oil with phthalic anhydride using (salen)CrIIICl as catalyst and n-Bu₄NCl/DMAP (tetrabutylammonium chloride/4-(dimethylamino)pyridine) as co-catalysts was carried out for the first time under microwave irradiation, where reaction time was reduced from a number of hours to minutes. The polyesters were obtained w...
متن کاملEnzymatic Production of Bio-Diesel from Waste Cooking Oil Using Lipase
The applications of lipase immobilized on ceramic beads and entrapped in sol-gel matrix, in the production of bio-diesel from waste cooking oil, are compared to that of free lipase. Experimental determination of the effect of molar equivalent of methanol, to moles of ester bond in the triglyceride, on the rate of the enzymatic trans-esterification was experimentally determined. It was found tha...

The purpose of this research work was to investigate the optimum operating conditions for biodiesel production from castor oil using a microwave. The Box–Behnken design of experiment was carried out using the Design Expert 7. A response surface methodology (RSM) was used to analyze the influence of the process variables (molar ratio of methanol to castor oil, catalyst concentration, reaction ti...
